We receive many questions every day, so we’ve posted some of the most frequently asked questions here.  If you can’t find what you’re looking for, send an email to: helpdesk@targetcenteredgolf.com

Q: Will the 5 Keys to Distance Program really help me?
A:  This is a game improvement program, not a quick-fix or collection of tips. If you master the simple concepts and do the drills, you can integrate these concepts into your own swing and your own game, and your distance and your game will improve.

Q: How is this program different from other swing “methods” out there?
A:    The 5 keys to distance are concepts based on the laws of physics, physiology, and kinetics. They are not a method at all. They are fundamental swing concepts, and the program describes exactly the same techniques I used to win a world long drive championship. They are the concepts I use in my daily teaching practice to help my own students achieve more distance and consistency in their games.

For instance, “Athletic Balance” is a concept, not a method. Once you understand what athletic balance is, it is up to you to figure out how to incorporate it into your own swing, based on your own unique physiology and swing characteristics. If this were a method program there would be only one way to achieve athletic balance. That’s why method teaching only works for a limited number of golfers.

Q: What kind of guarantee do you make?
A:    I have an unconditional performance guarantee. This means that if you don’t get results in 60 days, I’ll give you your money back, no questions asked. Simple as that. If you order a physical copy of the program, you will need to return the book and dvd before a refund is issued.

Q: Do you have any proof that this will work for me?
A:   The best proof I have to offer is my own experience as a world long drive champion. So, in this sense, I am living proof.  Also, my students are living proof that the 5 Keys work and will work for you. There are hundreds of testimonials from other students who have been successful using the concepts in The 5 Keys To Distance.

Q: The testimonials on your site seem too good to be true. Will I achieve similar results?
A:   You can’t really argue with the physics. For every mile-per-hour you add to your swing speed, you add about 2.4 yards of distance.  So if you add just 8 mph to your swing speed (about the speed of riding a bike leisurely), you can add 20 yards. Getting more distance is about getting more clubhead speed…and any one can add clubhead speed, if you know how. The 5 keys will show you how.

Q: Does your program work for women?
A:  Many of my students are women, and they are delighted with the program because I take the time to explain WHY the concepts are important and WHY they work. The average clubhead speed for a typical woman is around 62 mph. I have helped many of my students add 8 mph or more to their speed, which automatically increases their distance, their consistency and their confidence.

Q: What about left-handed golfers? Will your program still work?
A:  The concepts are exactly the same for left handed golfers. I have had some feedback requesting a “left-handed” version, or to at least use a different kind of reference like “back foot” instead of “right” foot as it appears in the book. I’ve made some changes, but only where it is very clear what I am referring to. Most leftys report that they are used to translating, and would prefer clarity over confusing language.

Q: What credentials does Eric Jones have?
A:  I’m a world long drive champion and a PGA professional with a Master’s degree in sport psychology.  I’m trained in both the mechanical and mental sides of the game. And, in fact, it is my core belief that instructors cannot and should not teach the mechanical and mental parts of the game separately. I teach the mechanical and mental sides of the game together because that is how the game of golf is actually played.

Q: Do you have any sample videos or free reports?
A: Yes, you can access many of my videos at this YouTube URL: http://www.youtube.com/targetcenteredgolf

Q: What do you charge for shipping? And who do you use?
A:  The hard copy of your book is shipped USPS First Class. We don’t mark up shipping. The books and DVDs are shipped from either Idaho or Texas.  The cost of shipping will be reflected on your order form.

Q:  What is white-listing and why does it matter to me?
A:  White-listing refers to making someone a “trusted sender” in your email client. You can do this by adding Eric’s email address to your “address book” in your email client. This way you’ll be able to always receive all the video lessons and BLOG updates, as well as Eric’s newsletter.
